I know this blog was conceived to be about product reviews and things but this post definitely is linked to beauty - however tenuously you may find it.
Being in the beauty industry is very much about helping people realise their beauty goals - whether that is having pretty, long nails when they are incapable of growing them themselves; giving them the golden tan that they desire without harming their skin or giving them the fluttery lashes of their dreams.
But there is more to true beauty than a few topical treatments can provide. And you need to have that healthy base before you start. Now, clearly I'm not a nutritionist but I do try to eat healthily between working and looking after my daughter, and my various other commitments; so I thought I'd show you some of the things that I've eaten over the course of the past week.
A few of my favourite meals have been my healthy banana berry cake - Yes! Healthy cake!! - with stewed cinnamon apples and fresh peaches, my butternut squash fritter with egg and salad for an easy yet tasty Saturday brunch and Tuesday night's Hoisin Pork & Noodle Stirfry for supper.

As you can see, there are lots of lovely healthy fruits and veggies on my plate at each meal and these are essential to be able to get your daily dose of the vitamins and minerals that you need to take in. I hope this pictures above inspire you to add some more veggies or fruits to your current repertoire.
